Pack lunch with an indoor picnic stop in mind Courchevel's operator identifies picnic rooms at the top of Verdons and in the Ariondaz gondola building, plus a relaxation area at the Chenus summit station. Verdons and the Ariondaz Saloon are listed with microwaves; the Saloon also lists water and a sink. For an outdoor stop, Signal has summit picnic benches. Compare groceries with your restaurant budget, then choose a stop on terrain your group can ski and your pass covers. Confirm room and lift opening times for the day. These mountain facilities are not a promise of free gondola access, available seating or an open room in the off-season.
