First Chair Preflight
Ski Day Checklist: First Chair Preflight.
Before you load the car or buy another pass, make three distinct checks: set your private trip, open an exact mapped operator report, then manually choose NWS or documented pass math only if it applies. Your first-chair countdown stays on this device.
Ski Day Checklist
Put first chair on your own calendar, then make the right checks.
Save the mountain, first ski day, and trip length you are already planning. Each saved trip gets three small, separate checks: your trip, an exact operator report when one is mapped, and only the manual NWS or pass-math support that applies to your decision.
No login, account, sync, trip-specific tracking, or trip date in a URL. No trip details are sent to analytics. This is not a live conditions feed, operating decision, packing list, reservation, or snow guarantee.
Opening your browser-local preflight…
The optional .ics file is generated in this browser with your first ski date and a generic ski-day reminder. It uses a random event ID, not your mountain or trip details. If you import it into a calendar provider, that provider may sync it; Ski Pass Planner does not receive the file.
Three checks, kept separate
A ski day checklist is not a live conditions feed.
- 01
Set your trip
Save the mountain, first ski day, and length you already plan to ski. It stays browser-local and is not a reservation or guarantee.
- 02
Open the exact operator report
Only when a reviewed direct destination is mapped. The checklist never guesses a resort page or makes an operating decision for you.
- 03
Use manual support only if it applies
For an exact curated U.S. selector, you can request NWS manually. For a pass decision, you can open documented math. Neither is packing advice, live conditions, or a snow guarantee.
First Chair Preflight does not decide access, reservations, price, checkout, operations, conditions, what to pack, or whether to ski. It keeps your personal plan private while leaving the final decision with you and the appropriate source.
Keep the season connected
Bring this checklist back to your private season home.
The Ski Season Planner gives your existing pass-cost plan, break-even progress, and first-chair routine a single browser-local return point. It does not create a new record or make a ski-day decision.
