Look at the timestamp first.

Check the camera’s date, time and location. A frozen frame, obscured lens or off-season snow stake can mislead. Use the operator report for lift and terrain status.

Select the Courchevel tab. The higher cameras and Croisette base view show different elevations; check each image timestamp and the lift report before planning a crossing to another valley.

Official sourceStart on Courchevel's free beginner liftsRead tip & sources

Before buying a full-area pass for a first lesson, ask your instructor whether the operator's free beginner lifts cover your session. Its list includes Bellecote, Cospillot and Jardin Alpin carpets in 1850; Petit Moriond, Mickey and Western Skipark in Moriond; Grandes Combes and Roys in Village; and Kodiak carpets and Troika in La Tania. Confirm the current list and opening status for your village and date. Free lift access does not include lessons or equipment, and does not cover the wider Courchevel or 3 Vallees network. Budget any paid lift access needed to reach or leave your lesson separately.

Official sourceMatch the Mini Pass to your lesson terrainRead tip & sources

Courchevel's Mini Pass covers designated beginner terrain and is sold in person only. The operator page reviewed September 9 lists a EUR39.50 one-day high-season rate for ages 5 to under 75, with high season shown as December 19–April 9. Confirm the price for your exact 2026/27 date, age and village at the ticket office; do not apply the high-season quote to the separate low-season option. Check the published Mini Pass map with your instructor before buying. It is limited-area access, not a full Courchevel or 3 Vallees ticket. Optional insurance, lessons and rentals are additional costs.

Official sourcePack lunch with an indoor picnic stop in mindRead tip & sources

Courchevel's operator identifies picnic rooms at the top of Verdons and in the Ariondaz gondola building, plus a relaxation area at the Chenus summit station. Verdons and the Ariondaz Saloon are listed with microwaves; the Saloon also lists water and a sink. For an outdoor stop, Signal has summit picnic benches. Compare groceries with your restaurant budget, then choose a stop on terrain your group can ski and your pass covers. Confirm room and lift opening times for the day. These mountain facilities are not a promise of free gondola access, available seating or an open room in the off-season.
