Check the train, the station and the return before booking A COsnow discussion shows how easily travelers can confuse Winter Park Express tickets with the California Zephyr. Amtrak distinguishes the direct resort stop (WPR), Fraser-Winter Park (WIP), and the resort shuttle connection (WPS). Check the actual service, arrival station, onward transfer and return on your booking. When reviewed September 8, Amtrak's ski-train page still described 2025/26; its old fares and operating days do not confirm a 2026/27 trip. Treat community schedule guesses as leads, then verify your dates with Amtrak before committing to lodging.
