Allow for Silver Mountain's gondola before your first run Reaching the village is not the end of the journey to the slopes. Silver Mountain's FAQ gives an average gondola ride of 20-25 minutes each way, with passenger numbers and weather affecting the journey. Rentals and the Mountain House day lodge are at the top. Build that ride into a lesson arrival or short ski day, and check the day's gondola hours before setting out.
