Check your guest-ticket coverage before buying extra fares A traveler account reviewed September 10 describes buying bus and train tickets for a Salzburg-to-Zell am See journey before realizing their guest ticket covered more than Salzburg city. This is one person’s experience, not a refund promise or a savings estimate for your trip. The practical lesson is to check the provincial ticket area, valid dates and your actual route before paying twice. Ask your accommodation to issue the Guest Mobility Ticket in advance, keep it ready to show, and buy any genuinely uncovered travel separately. Do not assume a booking confirmation or a different guest card is the required ticket.
