Compare a rail-and-shuttle GALA day with renting a car GALA lists arrivals at GALA Yuzawa Station and Echigo-Yuzawa Station, with a free shuttle option from Echigo-Yuzawa and Yuzawa Onsen town. Check whether direct trains serve GALA on your travel date, then compare rail tickets and any last-mile costs with car hire, fuel and tolls. The access page still contains older-season notices and spring shuttle schedules at our September review: confirm the current winter timetable, boarding point and final return connection before booking. Allow time for rentals, changing and ski bags. A shuttle listing is not a guarantee of service on your chosen day.
