Price a Bridger trip around the free winter bus Bridger offers free winter buses from the MSU Strand Union Building and Gallatin County Fairgrounds. The fairgrounds park-and-ride is midway through the grounds, opposite the Extension Office by the ballfield entrance. Select the correct day-type timetable and check both directions: the published winter window is December 11, 2026–April 11, 2027, with different midweek, peak, holiday and spring-break schedules. Enable bus notifications in the resort app. Mountain parking is also free, so compare fuel, rental and getting-to-the-stop costs rather than inventing parking savings. Camping and trailers require prior authorization; overnight camping is prohibited May–November.
