Try the Spokane-area mountains before choosing your regular hill

Open tip ↗

In a Reddit discussion with a skier moving to Spokane, local commenters suggest trying several nearby mountains before committing to a regular hill. They highlight weekday availability, where you live, terrain preferences and who you ski with as factors in the choice. Use that as a shortlist exercise: compare a realistic number of visits and the full travel cost. The thread's quoted deals, drive times and winter predictions are personal claims, not verified prices or forecasts. Recheck operator offers and compare current weather separately.

Compare the 49 North and Silver Mountain combo before buying

Open tip ↗

For adults aged 24-61 on December 31, 2026, 49 North's store lists its own 2026/27 season pass at $599 and the two-mountain combo at $789 through September 15. The combo adds unrestricted Silver Mountain access for $190 more than the single-mountain offer. Silver Mountain's live store also showed $789 on September 8, although its information page displayed a different price. Confirm the seller's checkout total, tax and eligibility. Separate passes are issued. Compare both mountains in our calculator using your Silver Mountain ticket quote; the combo is one purchase covering both. The $599 local pass covers 49 North only.
